Vintage-Inspired Wedding at the Minneapolis Woman’s Club

Rachel + Alex’s Minneapolis Woman’s Club wedding struck just the right balance of honoring the past and looking ahead to the future. The grand club building was built in 1928, and Rachel curated many vintage-inspired details that fit perfectly in that era, including an art deco getting ready robe, her intricately beaded gown, and wedding invitations featuring an art nouveau floral design which perfectly set the scene for the 1920s vibe.

The couple really liked the idea of creating a somber wedding portrait like those of their ancestors to pass down to their own descendants. In the grand, antique setting of their venue these portraits are some of my favorites from the day, and I love how intentional Rachel + Alex are about creating heirlooms for their future family.

We took a minute away from the reception to admire the beautiful rooftop view and take some classic Minneapolis wedding photos with the basilica at sunset before heading back to the dance party. Congratulations Rachel + Alex!
